absolutely beautiful!!!! crying and laughing at the same time! been picking up rubber bands all week long from the boys making sling shots. this came at the perfect time for me. I sometimes forget that boys are different and try to take control of what they are doing and how they are doing it. my daughter would sit and color and read all day if she could and i wonder “why cant the boys sit and be quiet like her?”. because GOD made them different and special in there own ways. thanks for sharing this.

Thank you for this! You inspire me, as a mother of a boy! You’re right about understanding and also accepting boys for boys! Events like, a stuffed animal shoved in my face in the middle if the night, followed with “I wanted you to have someone to snuggle with! Here’s my manatee!” Or the time my son drank from a watert bottle, and I made crazy faces at the bottom of it, resulting in my face getting showered with water from his hysterical laughter. Boys are such a blessing

Well said! :)
Sometimes we forget to let men be men...especially when it inconveniences us.
Our own agenda can get in the way of seeing their beauty.
